Dr. Satish M. Inamdar, a reckoned name in the management fraternity, holds a list of credentials to his name. Qualified and practicing Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and Company Secretary, he has done his Doctorate from Symbiosis International University. His area of research was Urban Cooperative Banks. |

| Professionally, he has been a part to various corporate bodies across sectors (both private & public) for consultancy & training purposes. Simultaneously, as an academician/ faculty, he has been associated with SIBM for about 20 years. |

Exposed to activities like planning, scheduling, he has been developing programs not just for the students but for the management development in various functional areas of industry as well. |

What is the role of BIIB in today’s industrial scenario? |

After 1991, in the era of Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization, tremendous employment opportunities are getting created in the Indian economy, virtually in all the sectors. Industry is looking at the management schools to provide the management professionals who can satisfy its requirements. Objective of BIIB is to create a unique place for itself in the industry and the society as an institution known for providing high caliber socially conscious managers. Our dream is to ensure that the Alumni of BIIB who satisfy this objective will be occupying the positions of Corporate Leaders. |

What efforts are done at BIIB to achieve its goal? |

At BIIB we believe in the fact that every individual has the inherent capacity to meet any challenges if his foundation is very strong, Hence, BIIB concentrates upon sharpening the decision making abilities of the young student managers by creating a very strong academic base. This is done through extremely well designed course structure and high caliber faculty. A constant exposure to corporate realities through the guest lectures, seminars and workshops makes the student managers ready to accept any challenges even before they commence their corporate careers. |

What is your advice to the budding student managers? |

While the student managers are aspiring to enter the industry, they should not be only money oriented. They should look forward to apply their knowledge for the quality decision making benefiting the industry. Monetary gains will follow automatically. |
